The IPLC is home to the Intellectual Property Honors Program. Under its auspices, selected entering St. John’s Law students who plan to pursue intellectual property practice receive an annual tuition stipend of $10,000 to fund their studies, as well as special opportunities to engage in academic endeavors related to their field of interest for their full three years at the Law School.

With a dynamic panel composed of industry insiders and practicing lawyers, students will get an exciting peek into this niche area of the law. Our panelists will be discussing the basics behind the importation and distribution process, along with the governing legal framework. They will also be touching on how intellectual property plays a role in the creation and marketing of alcohol brands, and will offer advice on how to break into this fascinating area of the law. This event will take place in the Atrium on Wednesday, April 8th from 5:00 pm- 7:00 pm. Food and Drinks will be served.
IP Colloquium Hosts Professor Michael J. Burstein
