Sean McGrath '18 wins NYSBA Phil Cowan Memorial/BMI Scholarship Writing Competition

Sean McGrath '18 has multiple writing competition wins. His paper, "The Light at the End of the Runway: Clarification of the Conceptual Separability Test May Help Correctly Shift the Balance of Copyright Protection in Favor of Fashion Designers," earned top honors at this year's Phil Cowan Memorial/BMI Scholarship Writing Competition sponsored by the New York State Bar Association's Entertainment, Arts & Sports Law Section. With his paper "Courts Struggle to Balance Bedrock Principles of Antitrust Law with Policy Implications of Nonprofit Hospital Mergers" McGrath took first in the ABA Health Law Student Writing Competition sponsored by the American Bar Association’s Health Law Section.
