On April 9, Professor Jeremy Sheff presented his work-in-progress, "The Ragged Edge of the Lanham Act," at the Fordham IP Conference held at Cambridge University. Professor Sheff's paper examines the interaction between the USPTO and the Federal Courts on matters of trademark registration and enforcement.
In addition, Professor Sheff moderated a separate panel at the conference on Fair Use and Similar Exceptions and Limitations in Copyright Law, which explored copyright law defenses in the US, the UK, the European Union and its member states, and Israel.
